new United BIkes Presents L40
After over 2 years the 40 frame has had a full makeover. We took the frame back to Kye & Leo’s roots and wanted to produce something that was more at home on the trails than anywhere else. Integrated gussets, full tapered tubeset, round ended stays and a new built in chain tensioner are just a few of the things we switched up on here. We also wanted to make sure strength was concentrated on, so even though it looks light, it is built to take some heat. The older built in seat clamp was an area they wre not happy with, so we worked on a new brazed on version that provides not only a better look but a stronger junction, re shaped the bb & headtube, and raised up the standover, no one likes a guitar when hitting a 30ft set. Not one area of this frame was left un touched, No more regular & heat treated versions either, just one simple, clean frame, (but with 2 names)
